RacingDiffs performance Limited Slip Differential unit differential type (168mm) for BMW

The RacingDiffs ALL SOLUTIONS LSD is suitable for ALL racing disciplines - Drift, Rally, Hill Climb, Circuit, Time Attack. It is great for street use as well.
The whole unit is fully adjustable: the number of active clutches, the initial pre-load and ramp angles.

The diff lock can be easily adjusted from 25% to 100%, both on 1.5 and 2 way.
The easiest way to adjust the lock is to change the number of ACTIVE clutches inside the unit.

For example, a RacingDiffs unit comes pre-set to a maximum number of active clutches (Default set-up: - clutch - disc - clutch - disc ...etc). You can change the clutch order to - clutch - clutch - disc - disc ...etc., resulting in the decrease of the number of ACTIVE clutches by 50%, and the lock percentage respectivelly. There are endless variations and combinations to set your unit very precisely to best suit your needs.

Please note that there is no need to apply symmetry on the left and right sides as all clutches spin together due to a connection between spider gears.

You can also change the ramp angle set-up, simply by rotating cross-pins to another position. This unlocks even more possibilities for fine tuning!

A unit contains:

• 4 or 6 moly-ceramics clutches with 4 or 6 Dog ear steel plates
• 2 spring shims
• Multi-variant pressure plates with 3 different ramp options - 50°/65°, 30°/30°, 30°/60°
• Billet steel housing, heat-treated for high durability.

The most common differential setups for characteristic applications:
- Drift - 2 way (30°/30° ramp angle) - Maximal number of active clutches
- Rally (Gravel) - 1.5 way (30°/60° ramp angle) Maximal number of active clutches
- Circuit (Grip driving) - 1.5 way (50°/65° ramp angle) - Maximal number of active clutches
- Street driving - 1.5 way (50°/65° ramp angle) - Number of active clutches may vary
