Pedders 4322 Eye Pin Kit

The Pedders Shackle Kit is a critical suspension component for vehicles equipped with leaf springs. Mounted at the rear of the leaf spring, the shackle allows for vertical movement and length changes in the spring as it flexes over uneven road surfaces. This flexibility is essential to maintaining proper suspension function and ride quality.

As the leaf spring flattens under compression, it naturally lengthens. The swinging motion of the shackle compensates for this movement, preventing stress and binding within the suspension system.
