The GARRETT 846098-5001S GTX3584RS Super Core turbocharger is a mid-frame unit engineered to deliver 550–1000 horsepower for 2.0L to 5.5L engines. This clean-sheet design incorporates advanced turbine and compressor technologies, making it the only mid-frame turbo in its class capable of achieving such performance. A newly developed high-horsepower turbine wheel provides improved exhaust flow and reduced backpressure compared to previous GT/GTX designs, paired with exclusive stainless steel turbine housings available in 0.83, 1.01, and 1.21 A/R. The Gen II ten-blade compressor wheel, combined with a 0.72 A/R housing, increases mass air flow and widens the tuning range. The dual ceramic ball bearing cartridge enhances response and durability, while machined speed sensor provisions allow precise monitoring of turbo speed during operation.
