RacingDiffs Limited Slip Differential clutch plate upgrade pack for Audi R8 (Gen.1)

RacingDiffs rebuild and upgrade LSD clutch pack is the plug & play solution for the rear differential of Lamborghini Gallardo - First generation 2003 - 2008. It also fits Audi R8 First Gen. rear differential as these 2 cars share the same drivetrain components.

This kit includes:
- 4x Moly-Ceramics clutch/friction discs,
- 4x hardcore dog ear steel plates,
- 2x Preload spring shims.

All parts fits OEM Lamborghini Gallardo LSD unit without any modifications.



Why is the RacingDiffs Clutch pack a superior Performance upgrade to the factory set-up?
This set brings a significant upgrade over the factory LSD set-up, which has NO pre-load at all. The factory set-up contains 4 clutch plates and 6 dog ear steel plates. If you do not have any pre-load in your LSD, the lock transition is abrupt, which does not help especially in long corners, resulting in the car behaving very unpredictably and unexpected oversteer is likely to occur. This negatively impacts the clutch wear as it is spinning constantly. RacingDiffs set, in addition to Moly-Ceramics clutch plates, brings 2 pre-load shims instead of 2 dog ear plates, compared to the factory set therefore it does not require any modification. It is Plug & Play! Shims will provide just about the right amount of pre-load to ensure optimal functioning of the LSD unit, both on the road and on the track.
It is a must have for all track addicts!
Clutches are perforated for better cooling and great viscosity to resist the oil build-up in the holes between dog ear plates.
